MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AID TRAINING
Almost half of UK workers are ‘running on empty,’ with burnout, mental ill health, and work-related stress costing the economy £28 billion annually.1 Around 51% of long-term sick leave is due to stress, depression, or anxiety.2
Alongside my psychotherapy practice, I deliver the accredited and widely endorsed 2-day Mental Health First Aider (MHFA®) course, for workplaces.
This course is for any organisation wishing to establish a positive, open mental health culture in the workplace by empowering nominated staff at every level to become qualified MHFAiders®. They will gain the knowledge and skills to spot signs of people experiencing poor mental health, be confident to start a conversation and signpost a person to appropriate support.
In addition to the course, your employees will become part of the largest MHFAider® community in England, gaining access to resources, ongoing learning and 24/7 digital support through the MHFAider Support App®, to give them the tools and knowledge they need to carry out their role effectively and confidently.
MHFA England training helps create a healthy workplace where employees’ mental health and physical health are valued equally. It gives employees the tools to support their own mental health and that of their colleagues and encourages them to access timely support when needed.
The course is run for 8-16 colleagues within your organisation, usually on Zoom although an in-person option at your premises is also possible.
You are welcome to invite colleagues from other organisations to join and share costs.
In-house course costs (online):
8-10 participants: £2,250
11-13 participants: £3,000
14-16 participants: £3,500
